Two weeks ago, Sarah and I ventured off to Paracas. We flew to Lima, spent a night there, then hopped on a bus heading south. Three hours later, we faced a very confusing landscape. Desert and beach. I was immediately infatuated with Paracas' uniqueness and I spend most of my time there looking through my lens. Not to mention the marine life and birds, SO MANY BIRDS, made it hard to put my camera down. We took a tour through the National Reserve and then to the desert for some dune boogying and sand boarding (sitting in our case). If you ever have the chance to dune buggy in the desert, DO IT! We had so much fun! The next morning, we took a tour to the Islas Ballestas and saw many many peruvian boobies (the bird kinds) and hundreds and hundreds of seals. Those who know me well, know how much I love seals. So of course, I was in seal heaven.
